Rossignol Pursuit 800 TI 2019
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
The Pursuit 800 Ti from Rossignol is a very versatile ski.
It can be skied less aggressively, provided you are still carving, as it is slightly less at ease in skidded turns. The ski is fun, easy to use, smooth, and versatile.
But when you pick up the pace, the ski shows its true character – which is super solid! As you put more and more pressure on the ski, it seems to give back more and more. The testers were clear: "A super performer and raring to go," "lively and grippy," "made to carve," "precise," "just wants to play" were some of the comments. They could not praise it enough! The ski's edge grip, ability to hold the turn, and capacity to create big edge angles while carving were particularly appreciated.
We highly recommend the Pursuit 800 Ti for advanced to expert skiers who want a ski that has a wide range of use. The ski will also help good skiers refine their carving skills and take larger edge angles. Skiers who have not yet mastered carved turns would probably be better off with the Kästle MX84.
- Amazing overall performance
- Edge grip
- Excellent carved turns
- Demanding, not as accessible as some other skis
- Not as comfortable in skidded turns
