Rossignol Experience 94 TI review 2019

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

We have been testing Rossignol's Experience line for many years now. Our testers have frequently criticized the skis for being too focused on skiing the frontside because they had oversized tips and a lot of shape.

In January 2018, Rossignol told us it had taken our comments into account (and no doubt those of other reviews as well). They showed us the skis in the new Experience range, which had straighter shapes and more progressive tips/rockers.

These changes were a success. The Experience 94 Ti has risen to the top level due to the ski's performance, both on and off-piste, and to its incredible accessibility.

In fact, the testers called it an "easy ski," "confidence-inspiring," and "accessible to everyone." It is easy to control, predictable, and will give confidence to skiers going off-piste for the first time.

An "excellent frontside ski," the Experience 94 performs well, is grippy, predictable, and can easily vary the turn shape.

We tested a relatively long model so were surprised that the ski was "very playful" and so much fun to ski.

The testers noticed a considerable improvement in the off-piste performance of this new generation. The ski has become a true all-mountain back ski that is comfortable in all snow conditions, including tricky snow.

The reviewers tested the 187cm ski on relatively soft snow (as they did with all the other models in this category). It is logical to expect a decrease in performance on hard snow and in shorter lengths. But the ski's strengths and the progress the brand has made are undeniable.

The Experience 94 Ti is a must for skiers looking for a truly versatile ski that is agile, accessible, and performs reasonably well. We recommend it for small to average-sized advanced and expert skiers looking for a fun easy ski. The 187cm that we tested would be best for heavier or extremely athletic skiers, while lighter skiers would probably be better off with the 180cm.

  • Solid, predictable
  • Very stable

Review: Cons
