The Anthem series is K2’s new all-mountain frontside women’s series. The Anthem 80 is the second widest ski in the range.

Evidently, it is a soft ski, with all the advantages and disadvantages that come with that.

It is easy to flex making it a very accessible ski, very easy to turn, forgiving, and comfortable in skidded turns. Its lightness is an added bonus.

However, you feel the lack of rigidity when speed is increased. The ski lacks edge grip on hard snow and cannot hold the line at high speed. It doesn’t give back much energy.

The K2 Anthem 80 ski is geared towards accessibility, but sadly, its performance is not strong enough to score high in this category. It would probably have scored better in a “Women’s Easy Cruiser” category, which doesn’t exist at Proskilab unfortunately.

We recommend this ski to female skiers looking for smoothness, ease of use, and enjoyment at moderate speed above all.
