While the Rossignol Experience 94 Ti won a "Best Ski" award in the men’s category, our female testers found the Experience 88 Ti W pretty demanding.

Overall performance is good. The ski is stable, grips well, and is particularly comfortable in short turns where it provides great rebound.

The Experience 88 Ti W is pretty stiff for a women’s ski and seems similar to the men’s version. In addition, the construction, the waist, and the sidecut are the same. The weight is also similar.

The ski is difficult to bend for an average-sized advanced female skier. The relatively stiff tail makes the end of the turn, skidded turns, and skiing in chopped-up snow difficult. It is likely that the tuning on the test ski accentuated this phenomenon.

The Experience 88 Ti W is not a ski for smaller skiers or for just cruising around. It is a demanding ski that requires weight and energy to be flexed. We recommend it for athletic female skiers who have good technique and a slightly larger than average build.
