Head WC Rebels iShape Pro review 2018
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
A bit "overpowered" for this category, the iShape Pro from Head is not a tool for the inexperienced. It’s docile as long as you already have good technical skills under your belt. At medium speeds with a well-positioned rider, it’s really easy to enter and hold rock steady turns. Entering carved turns is intuitive and the ski will hold a steady speed as it engages in relatively dynamic turns. On the other hand, the iShape Pro is far less happy in slower back-leaning skid turns, hampered by its relative stiffness and somewhat grippy tail. We wouldn’t recommend this ski to beginners. On the other hand, it’s a good choice for riders who already master carving techniques (beginning of ESF class 3) and who want an easy, progressive tool to hone their technique.
