Völkl Flair SC review 2020

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

Völkl describes the Flair SC (Slalom Carver) as “a stiff but light frontside ski, made for short turns.”

Overall performance is good, although not the best in this category. The testers appreciated the ski’s balance between performance and comfort. They said the ski is “not too stiff” but provides “good rebound.”

The ski is “easy and playful,” particularly comfortable in short turns, but capable of increasing the turn radius when necessary.

The Völkl Flair SC is a good ski, “enjoyable,” strong in short turns, light but relatively smooth and versatile.

We recommend it to intermediate to advanced female skiers.

Manufacturer's remarks

The Flair SC is just a little heavier than its Efficiency-equivalent. Apart from that all features and riding abilities are the same. This easy-handling tip rocker slalom carver, makes the corduroy a true playground for advanced to expert skiers. Equipped with Tip Rocker for quicker turn initiation and with the GripWalk compatible vMotion3 binding.
