Atomic VF 72 review 2011
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
Like many Atomic products, the VF72 was designed for performance. It's a good ski, but too demanding and not accessible enough for the "Advanced" category. Good and very good skiers with larger-than-average build who are looking for an effective tool that will carve turns out of the snow will like it though, particularly on hard snow.
Review: Pros
- In keeping with the brand's image, the Atomic VF 72 is an excellent ski, offering good all-round performance. The ski really stands out though for its excellent grip in hard snow and its comfort in turn initiation and in riding turns.
Review: Cons
- The Atomic VF 72 requires good technical and physical skills. One of the reviewers' main remarks was that the ski required optimal fore/aft balance for its potential to be fully exploited. Short skid turn transitions were difficult at times. Some reviewers also found the ski lacked a certain ludicity.
