Nordica Spitfire Pro review 2016

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

The Spitfire Pro performs very well but is a demanding ski. It’s more of a Giant type model that we recommend for very fit and powerful riders, weighing more than 75-80 kg, who enjoy speed and long turns.

Review: Pros

  • Very good performance overall
  • Excellent behaviour in carving
  • Remarkable in long turns
  • A stable and responsive ski
  • Also enjoyable in take-it-easy mode

Review: Cons

  • The stiff and responsive tail requires a certain degree of vigilance when adding pressure
  • Needs some physical and technical prowess to use it to its full potential
  • Skid turns less convincing
  • More physical in short turns

Manufacturer's remarks

The "Front race" best-seller for several years now has been completely revamped for even more pleasure!
It’s a new approach to high end skis that are far more accessible and are able to alternate long and short turns with incredible precision!
The sidecut is unusual with a slalom type of tip and a typical giant tail!
The traditional ‘sandwich’ construction guarantees performance and quality but above all, highly enjoyable when carving turns!
