Blizzard S8 review 2016
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
The Blizzard S8, a giant type of ski is an engaged tool that will do serious riders proud. A bit less progressive than some of its rivals (Laser SC and Hero Elite LT), it will satisfy more heavily built committed riders looking for an efficient and very responsive ski.
We do not recommend this model in this size for lightweight riders who will generally find it too demanding.
Review: Pros
- Well behaved in long turns, even on hard pack
- Excellent grip
- Explosive launches
- Ski with character
Review: Cons
- Needs to be skied forward, with pressure on the tongue
- More technical in short turns
- Requires physical effort and vigilance, especially in sometimes very lively rebounds
- A stiff ski that’s not so happy in relaxed turns or skid or sliding turns

Manufacturer's remarks
This new "S" range ski will score top marks for its ultra-energetic performance, its instant responsiveness and its irreproachable stability.
With 72 mm underfoot, it remains good in all conditions, without ever seeming difficult (thanks to the IQ bindings system), while its efficient change of pace and great performance in short and long turns give it incredible versatility, in short it’s a MARVEL...
