Scott Sagebrush review 2016

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

The Sagebrush from Scott is less playful than the Enforcer and less focused on performance than the Cochise, but is a good all-rounder.
The ski does well in all areas, although it never really shines. It’s ideal for average to good skiers looking for a reliable one-quiver model that performs well both on and off piste.

Review: Pros

  • A consistent ski
  • Consistent and reassuring performance
  • Good grip
  • Stable
  • Very comfortable

Review: Cons

  • A flexible ski that lacks firmness
  • Poorer performance at higher speeds
  • A wide and flexible ski tip that’s a bit shaky when you pick up speed.
  • NB ProSkiLab™: the 2016 all mountain 30/70 ski review conditions (despite the date being pushed back several times) were exceptionally bad: e.g. transformed snow, crusting off-piste, hard pack on the piste. In these conditions, more rigid skis with better grip and better skimming power in uneven snow conditions tend to do better.
