Dynastar Cham 107 review 2016

PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

Like the Soul 7, the Cham 107 has focused on accessibility and the widest public possible. It's a good model for freeride beginners.

Review: Pros

  • A tolerant ski
  • Excellent turning power
  • Agile, very user-friendly in short turns on soft snow
  • Easy-turning ski
  • Great powder skiing

Review: Cons

  • Lacks character
  • Performance was less impressive at high speeds and in long-radius turns: uneasy push-off with lack of grip and control.
  • NB ProSkiLab™: the 2016 all mountain 30/70 ski review conditions (despite the date being pushed back several times) were exceptionally bad: e.g. transformed snow, crusting off piste, hard pack on the piste. In these conditions, more rigid skis with better grip and better skimming power in uneven snow conditions tend to do better.
