Scott Maya review 2013
Best ski 2013
PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments
The testers favourite for 2013, the Scott Maya is an excellent Advanced ski, which is both versatile and impressive, enjoyable and playful. It's a very good choice for both good and very good skiers looking for a one-quiver ski that is fluid and enjoyable in all conditions.
Review: Pros
- The Maya is highly manoeuvrable and easy to use in curve initiation. This very short ski (we tested the 155 cm) is nonetheless a brilliant performer and stable at higher speeds. The testers also noted its great versatility: the ski performs well everywhere, and in all snow and ground conditions, as well as in all types of carves and turns.
Review: Cons
- This highly effective ski requires little technical prowess, especially if you want to enjoy all of its potential.

Manufacturer's remarks
Easy to use and incredibly forgiveness, with a super-light construction for an exceptional skiing experience. The smooth, consistent flex allows effortless turns and make this a great vehicle for skiing in, then out, then in, then out of bounds again…
