Opinions differed over the Night Elve as some reviewers apparently found it difficult to come to grips with. The ski didn't perform well enough to rank high in the "Advanced Women" category. It's suitable for beginners, on medium slopes, skid turns, and for ski touring.

- This ski's great design is matched by its ease of handling. It's especially good on 'soft' turns, mild slopes and skid turns.

- The ski is difficult to handle in carved turns where it lacks stability and reliability when pressure is applied, making it feel unsafe.
