PROSKILAB™ reviewers' comments

The Rossignol Unique 8 is a very docile ski that gives the rider confidence and lots of pleasure. However, it lacks the punch needed to do well in this Women’s Top-of-the-range category. It’s still a good model and we recommend it for intermediate riders who're mainly looking for comfort and pleasure.

Review: Pros

  • An enjoyable ski that gives a feeling of lightness
  • Easy to handle and very tolerant
  • Well balanced with no surprises

Review: Cons

  • Lacks some ‘punch’ for the Top-of-the-range category

Manufacturer's remarks

The Unique 8 is an alpine ski designed for advanced to expert female skiers. This carving ski is ideal for ladies looking for facility and adrenalin on the pistes.
The Unique 8 is a great performer but still very easy to use. Its modern construction makes it easy to handle, with incredible grip on hard pack and strong sensations for experienced skiers as well as riders looking to make progress on the runs thanks to its light rocker in the tip and traditional camber under foot. Easy to handle and a great performer, the ski weighs just 5,2kg (with bindings) the pair. The Unique 8 is the alpine ski the ladies have been waiting for.
